Ultramar is the best and cheapest option to Isla Mujeres. On Island you can rent golf cart or car, We rented golf cart for 30$ for 6 hrs and roam around.
Isla Mujeres is one of my favorite place.

It was our last night in Cancun next morning we have flight back to home. We were shopping around mercado 23 area and had dinner nearby. We continue to see more stores and got lost completely, I checked my google map its shows we are 2km away from out hotel. wth how we came that far. We follow the map and walk in the same direction. After 0.5km we heard a kitten crying. My gf is crazy about animals and she stopped there and ask me to find the kitten. Finally after a while we saw that kitten. There were some people around we ask them to help this kitten and give to shelter or something but they refuse to help, My gf took the kitten and ask me to lets go to hotel. I was like what we can do at night and we have flight tomorrow early morning and we had plan for our Pirate Dinner Cruise.But you cant say no to gf so we got a cab and took kittten to hotel. We also ask the cab guy if there is any shelter we can handover the kitten but unfortunately it was night time nothing is open at that time.
So we took kitten to hotel room. Kitten was hungry and crying so we took a cab and went to nearby Walmart to get here something. We got her cat milk, bowl and some kitten food. when we are back to hotel kitten was nowhere. We found her sleeping in my shoes lol. we gave her milk and let her sleep while we find her new home.
We tried calling several places in Cancun but at that time no one answer. Then we remember that earlier that day we had out Atlantis tour and the driver wanted a cat and thought of calling him but we didnt have his number. So we contacted his company from where we did out tour booking but they refuse to give his number. We made up a story that we forget our phone in his car to get his number lol. Finally after so many calls they agree to give driver manager number and we called him and ask his number but he refuse too to give driver number. He agree on giving tour guide contact number then we call our tour guide he was really friendly and we explain him everything how we got kitten so he agree to give driver contact number.
We call the driver and tell him we got kitten for him. He was so happy and told us he will come and get the kitten by 1:00 am. Finally we were relaxed and happy that finally kitten is going to her new home. We almost forget our Pirate Dinner Cruise tour and let it go for next time.
Driver came around 1:30 am and took the kitten happily. He said he wanted a kitten from long and his family will be very happy to see this new kitten. He is still on my Facebook and Whatsapp. I got some new picture from him and kitten is grown up.
This was my best thing happen on our Cancun tour we got lost and got a chance to help this kitten. :) hope to see her soon..... Thx for reading and sorry for English mistakes. I am not good in writing.
I am sharing this info as per my personal experience. I have been to Mexico twice, my flight was from Heathrow to Mexico.
1. I lose almost 1000 peso in UK because of my wrong decision to exchange money in UK. I have exchange some 400 $ to Pesos but when i reach Mexico i saw the rates were much better. If i have exchange my money from Mexico i would have got extra 1000 peso.
2. I Stayed in Adhara Cancun Hotel near city. Rates in city were better then Airport or hotelzone area, Its better to exchange money from city then Airport or UK or hotelzone area.

There is no Mexico Embassy in Bahrain. I got my visa from Riyadh. Visa can be ready same day if all the documentation are completed. I got my 2nd visa within few hours. My First mexico visa took 4 days to deliver to my place via Aramex.

2 color photographs size (3.5 x 4.5 cm) with a white background, head uncovered and without glasses. One of which must be pasted in the space provided in the visa application form.
Proof of employment or student activity. In the case of commercial establishments, letter authenticated by the Chamber of Commerce or equivalent is required.
Original bank account statement (for the last 6 months) stamped by the bank.
Flight itinerary and hotel reservation.
Note: Require the personal presence to the Embassy for the Consular interview & biometrics registration.

We have planned for Subsee Glass bottom boat tour but it got cancel due to weather issue. So we choose to go to Isla Mujeres Island instead of subsea.
Tour was awesome food was good Professional Staff.
Isla Mujeres is now one of my fav place i have ever visited. :)
Cancun is safe from Zika virus no need to worry before visiting i was really worried. Dont forget to take mosquito lotion with you specially in some area of ISLA MUJERES. :) ENJOY!
